On October 3, the Novak Djokovic Foundation launches a series of meetings in Belgrade called 'Parenting that GROWS'. The venue is MTS Dvorana, and the audience is parents and specialists. The topics are broadly defined: psychology, psychotherapy, psychiatry and education.

Four meetings

Ahead of the first meeting, the foundation published an announcement on its official LinkedIn account. It explained in one phrase who the whole thing is designed for:

"For parents who want to better understand the world in which their children are growing up" (Novak Djokovic Foundation, official LinkedIn post).api.tennis

How it came together

The foundation announced the project in advance. A program page appeared on the official Novak Djokovic Foundation website on September 10. Its web address continues the name of the series: "because when a parent grows, a child grows too." The word "grows" in the title works both ways, referring to children and to the adults beside them.

Between the court and Belgrade

The Belgrade meetings fall during a packed stretch of Djokovic's season. In late September at the China Open, he won three matches in a row: against Nuno Borges (6:3, 7:6), against Yunchaokete Bu (4:6, 7:6, 6:2), and against Alexander Zverev (4:6, 6:4, 6:4).
