Biography
Adrian Mannarino was born on June 29, 1988, in Soisy-sous-Montmorency near Paris. A left-hander, he stands 180 cm tall. He began his professional career in 2005, playing for clubs in the Paris region.
He achieved his first successes on the Futures and Challenger circuits in the second half of the 2000s: in 2008 he reached the semifinal of the tournament in Metz and won his first Challenger title in Jersey. In 2011 he entered the top 50 for the first time after reaching the quarterfinal in London ahead of Wimbledon, but a slump followed, and it wasn't until 2013 that he established himself in the top 100, reaching the fourth round of Wimbledon.
He claimed his first ATP title only in 2019 in 's-Hertogenbosch, and his second in 2022 in Winston-Salem. His best season came in 2023: three titles, in Newport, Almaty and Sofia, which returned him to the top 30. In total, Mannarino has five ATP titles and ten more lost finals to his name.
In January 2024, after reaching the fourth round of the Australian Open (losing to Novak Djokovic), he rose to a career-high 17th place in the singles rankings. His best Grand Slam results are the fourth round at Wimbledon (2013), the Australian Open (2022 and 2024) and the US Open (2025); at Roland Garros he has never advanced past the third round.
