Biography
Amy Sucha is a Czech tennis player, born on 29 November 2007; she plays right-handed. She grew up in the Czech Tennis Association system and went through the entire ITF junior calendar, rising to around No. 100 in its rankings. Her most notable junior result was winning a J100 tournament in Tunisia; she also reached the finals of junior events in Slovenia and in Žilina, Slovakia, and it is because of her appearances on Slovak courts that she is sometimes mistakenly listed as a member of the Slovakia team. Her move into the senior tour came in 2025–2026 and took place mainly during the Eastern European clay-court weeks: Sucha played W15, W35 and W50 tournaments in the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Germany. The summer of 2026 was a breakthrough for her, as she twice reached the semifinals at W35 level, in Poland's Bolszewo and Bydgoszcz. In total during the 2026 season she played around ten tournaments, winning about a third of her main-draw matches; her career prize money is so far measured in thousands of euros, and she has no senior titles in either singles or doubles.
