Andrea Roots

Biography

Andrea Roots is an Estonian tennis player, born on 14 June 2005. She builds her career on ITF tournaments, alternating the W15 and W35 categories, and is among the notable representatives of Estonian women's tennis of her generation, alongside Maileen Nuudi. Her best ITF ranking is given as No. 492. She spent the 2026 season at competitions in Finland, Egypt and other countries: in late July she reached the doubles semifinal of a W15 tournament in Savitaipale, Finland, playing with Romanian Alexia Lavinia Puiac; in the quarterfinal this duo won 7-5, 3-6, 10-5. In September of the same year she successfully came through qualifying for a W15 tournament in Hurghada, Egypt, while at a larger W35 event there she ended her run earlier. She has no regular doubles partner: the pairings change from tournament to tournament, and besides Puiac she has several times taken the court with fellow Estonian Maileen Nuudi. No separate biographical article about her has been published yet, so details about the start of her path, her height and her style of play remain unknown.
