Biography

Benjamin Gusic-Wan is a British tennis player, born on 21 November 2007. He began playing tennis at the age of five. In the ITF junior rankings he finished 2024 in 72nd position with 753 points; during the season he played mainly J200 and J300 level tournaments. His main results include a win at the J200 in Aldershot, finals of the J100 in Trnava and the J200 in Nonthai, a semifinal of the J300 in Nonthaburi, and the second round of the junior Australian Open. At Roland Garros and Wimbledon in 2024 he lost in the first round. In 2025 Gusic-Wan again won the J200 in Aldershot, reached the final of the J200 in Košice, the quarterfinals of the J200 in Benicarló and the J300 in Cairo, and at the junior Wimbledon reached the second round. In the first-round match at Wimbledon he beat Pierluigi Basile, then lost to Jack Secord. In parallel the Briton began playing on the adult ITF tour. His best result in the ATP singles rankings is 1544th on 8 September 2025. In the available professional career statistics he appears mainly at M15-category tournaments; he has no ATP or ITF singles titles. In the junior rankings he also had notable results in doubles, including appearances with Justin Engel. Gusic-Wan’s main achievements came in the transitional period between junior and adult tennis: in 2024 he entered the junior top 100, and in 2025 he continued to gain experience at international tournaments and took his first steps in the professional rankings.
