Biography
Daniel Verbeek is a Dutch tennis player born on 25 June 2004. He plays right-handed and began playing tennis at the age of five. On the ITF junior tour he represented the Netherlands and made notable progress in the 2022 season: in June he was the best among Dutch juniors, ranked 146th, and at the end of the year rose to 100th in the ITF world rankings. In the same season Verbeek played at the junior Australian Open: he came through two rounds of qualifying, but in the first round of the main draw lost to the Thai player Tanapatt Nirundorn 3–6, 6–4, 6–4. In doubles at the tournament he played with Alessio Basile: their duo won the opening match and reached the second round, where they lost to Gabriel Debru and Kilian Feldbausch. In summer 2022 Verbeek was a semifinalist in singles and doubles at a Dutch junior tournament in Bakkum. He began his adult career at ITF tournaments, gradually moving from the junior level to men’s competitions on clay and hard courts. His best ATP ranking is 1296th, which he reached on 27 October 2025. No titles at tournaments of the main professional calendar appear in the available statistics; the adult stage of his career so far consists mainly of appearances at ITF M15 and M25 tournaments.
