Biography
Jeong Moon was born on 12 March 2002 and represents the Republic of Korea. She plays right-handed. In international entry lists her name is often given in reverse order, so both spellings appear in reference sources. The basis of her schedule consists of lower-level ITF tournaments — primarily the W15 and W35 series — in Korea, Japan, Egypt and Australia; she has not played at main-tour WTA events. She performs better in doubles: that is where her personal best is higher — No. 873 in the WTA rankings, whereas in the singles list she has risen only to No. 1064; in the overall ITF world tour ranking her best position is No. 381. She has no regular partner: the make-up of the pair changes almost from tournament to tournament, and her recent partners include both compatriots and players from other Asian countries. With them she has reached semifinals and quarterfinals at tournaments in Japan and Australia, but she has not yet won any senior-level titles.
