Biography
Josy Daems was born on 13 March 2006 in Germany. She is left-handed. From a young age she played mainly doubles, competing in Tennis Europe series tournaments and national championships; in 2023 she was accepted into the Porsche Junior Team junior programme.
In 2023 she played in the qualifying of the junior Grand Slam tournaments for the first time — at the French Open and Wimbledon — but failed to reach the main draw on either occasion. She builds her senior career on ITF tournaments: she won her first doubles title in June 2024, and by 2026 her tally had grown to seven ITF doubles titles, including the W35 events in Faro and Horb and the W15 events in Kamen, Leimen and Monastir.
In singles she has not achieved particular success: her personal best is No. 482 in the WTA rankings (17 November 2025). The main emphasis of her career is on doubles tennis.
