Biography
Lorena Solar Donoso was born on 7 June 2007 in Spain. She plays right-handed. She plays mainly on the ITF circuit.
In May 2023 she won the girls' under-16 tournament at the Madrid Open. That summer she received a wildcard into the main draw of the $40,000 ITF tournament in Ciudad de Palma del Río, but lost in the first round to Alexandra Eala; in doubles she also went out in her opening match.
In 2024 she again played Ciudad de Palma del Río on a wildcard, losing in the first round. In doubles she reached two ITF W15 finals, in Nules (with Meritxell Teixido Garcia) and in Melilla (with Neus Torner Sensano), losing both deciding matches.
She has risen to No. 792 in the WTA singles rankings (2026) and No. 841 in doubles. She has not yet won titles on the WTA or ITF circuits.
