Luisa Meyer Auf Der Heide

Biography

Luisa Meyer Auf Der Heide was born on 31 January 2002 in Germany. For many years she topped the German junior rankings in all age categories. In 2016, together with Alexandra Vecic, she received a wildcard into the main draw of the Knoll Open, but in the very first match the pair lost to Kristina Dinu and Diana Enache. In 2017 national team coach Barbara Rittner included her in the Porsche junior team.

She made her debut on the senior tour in 2020 and soon concentrated on ITF tournaments. In 2021–2022 she won three W15-level titles — in Melilla, Mar del Plata and Buenos Aires — and reached five more finals, including a W25 tournament in Mogyoród. In autumn 2021 she came through qualifying into the main draw of a tournament with $60,000 prize money in Brazil, beat Natalie Kurata, but in the second round lost in three sets to Elina Avanesyan. She reached her career-high singles ranking of No. 376 in October 2022.

Since 2023 she has continued to play mainly ITF tournaments: she won singles W15 titles in Kuršumlijska Banja (2024) and Dijon (2025), and in doubles four W15 titles, twice in Monastir (2024, 2025), as well as in Stellenbosch (2024). For many years she represented the club Blau-Weiss Halle, and in 2021 she moved to SCC Berlin.
