Biography
Mahin Qureshi is a Pakistani tennis player, born on 9 November 2001 in Rawalpindi. International profiles list her as left-handed; she began playing tennis at the age of nine, starting out at a local club. In her junior years she represented Pakistan at national and international competitions. In 2015 she won an international tournament among girls under 14 — this result was called the first title of such level in Pakistan's women's singles tennis. In 2016 she became winner of an under-16 tournament held by the Barcelona federation, and in 2017 she held third place in the under-18 girls' ranking of the Pakistan Tennis Federation. In national adult competitions Qureshi achieved notable results: in 2018 she earned points for winning the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee tournament, and in the 2019–2020 seasons she was among the leading players of the country in the federation ranking. In 2019 she was part of the Pakistan team at the South Asian Games in Nepal and won a bronze medal in the women's team event. Later she continued her training and play in Spain, including tournaments in Barcelona, after which she moved on to an international adult career under the auspices of the ITF and WTA. In 2025–2026 she played mainly at ITF tournaments in Tunisia and Spain; her opponents included Naiktha Bains, Mouna Bouzgarrou, Maria Toma and Justine Bretnacher. In 2026 she reached the quarterfinal of a doubles tournament in Monastir. According to WTA statistics, in singles she has one win and five losses, no titles, and prize money of 368 dollars. In 2026 Qureshi also won the Pakistan national championship in women's singles, defeating Romaisa Malik 6:0, 6:0.
