Biography
Melios Efstathiou was born on 2 March 1999 and is Cypriot. As a junior he reached the quarterfinal of the 2017 Australian Open in singles and rose to 42nd in the junior ranking (March 2017).
On the adult tour he plays mainly on the ITF circuit. In 2025 he won several M15-level doubles titles, twice in Heraklion with Eleftherios Neos and twice in Alaminos (with Andreas Timini and Damien Wenger). In 2026 he added two singles titles: the M25 in Pozzuoli and the M15 in Heraklion.
His highest singles ranking is 638th (29 June 2026), and in doubles 464th (10 November 2025, according to the article). He plays for the Cyprus Davis Cup team, where he has a 5–6 record.
