Biography
Mia Slama was born on 14 March 2006 in the USA. As a junior from 2022 to 2024 she played in all four Grand Slam tournaments: in 2022 at Wimbledon she reached the round of 16 in doubles with Lucía Peyre, and in 2024 at the Australian Open she reached the round of 16 in singles.
On the senior tour she plays almost exclusively ITF tournaments, where she has won two doubles titles: in 2024 in Bucharest with Iva Ivanova, and in 2026 in Merzig with Valentina Steiner. In singles in 2024 she received a wildcard into the tournament in La Marsa with $40,000 prize money, but lost in the first round to Yasmine Mansouri.
Since 2024 she has played for the North Carolina State University college team.
Her career-high WTA singles ranking is No. 837 (as of 27 July 2026).
