Biography
Noa Krznaric Uygungul is a Croatian tennis player, born on 19 April 2003 in Zagreb. She is left-handed, prefers clay and began playing tennis at the age of seven. In her junior years she represented Croatia at ITF tournaments and in 2019 rose to No. 96 in the world girls' ranking. In June 2019 she reached the final of an ITF J4 tournament in Hillerød on clay, where she lost to the Spaniard Lucía Linares Domingo. In August of the same year she was the top seed at a J4 tournament in Kranj and reached the quarterfinals; the Croatian federation described her as a 16-year-old representative of Zagreb. Earlier Krznaric also achieved notable results in younger age groups: in 2015 she won the international junior tournament Eddie Herr, and in 2016 she played in the main draw of the Orange Bowl in the under-16 category. In adult tennis her career has been played mainly at ITF tournaments. In the WTA singles rankings she rose to No. 1290 on 16 January 2023. In 2024 she was seeded in the qualifying of the WTA 125 tournament in Zagreb, and in 2025 she continued to play at international tournaments and series with ranking matches.
