Biography
Stefan Dostanic was born on 4 November 2001 in Irvine (California). He is right-handed and 188 cm tall. From 2018 he played junior and professional ITF tournaments.
He played college tennis for the University of Southern California, then transferred to Wake Forest, with which he won the NCAA team championship in 2025.
On the senior tour he won his first ITF singles title in 2023, and among his most recent are four tournaments at M25/M15 level in 2024–2026, including wins in Austin and Heraklion; in doubles in 2024 he won the M25 in Austin with Pierre-Yves Bailly. In 2024, as a wild card, he qualified for the Masters in Indian Wells, but lost in the first round to Sumit Nagal. In 2025 he received a wild card into the US Open main draw by winning the college qualifying tournament — he made his Slam debut but lost in the first round; at the tournament in Winston-Salem he recorded his first main-tour ATP win, beating Aleksandar Vukic.
In 2026 he added his first Challenger singles title — in Baton Rouge, defeating Alexis Galarneau in the final, reached the final in Sarasota, where he lost to Wu Yibing, and won a doubles title in Tallahassee with Alex Rybakov. He rose into the top 300, and his career-high singles ranking is No. 261 (25 May 2026).
