Biography
Stefan Latinovic was born on November 22, 1999, in Belgrade, Serbia. He is right-handed, uses a two-handed backhand, and stands at around 198 cm tall. He started playing tennis at the age of four. He spent most of his junior career on ITF tournaments, reaching a career-high junior ITF ranking of 1560th on May 8, 2017, with a junior record of four wins and two losses. In 2018, Latinovic began competing for Wichita State University, where he mostly played at the four through six singles spots and compiled 36 wins in singles and 30 in doubles. In 2022, he transferred to Louisiana State University, where he played through 2024. In the 2022/23 season, his singles record stood at 19–16, and in the 2023/24 season he posted 14 wins; in doubles, he partnered with various players, including Alexi Lofman and Duncan Chen.
His serious move into professional tournaments came in 2024. In singles, Latinovic reached the final of an ITF M15 event in Pirot on clay, where he lost to Roberto Cid Subervi. His main achievements have come in doubles: in 2025, he won several ITF titles, and at the Challenger-level event in Ostrava he claimed the title alongside Czech player Jan Jermar. In March 2025, he also reached the quarterfinals of a Challenger on Crete partnering with German player Marko Topo. In the ATP singles rankings, Latinovic reached a career-high of 934th on July 28, 2025. His professional profile is clearly weighted toward doubles, as he regularly competes with different partners and achieves stronger results in that discipline.
