Biography
Vihaan Reddy is an American tennis player, born on December 17, 2009, in San Jose, California. A right-hander, he started playing tennis at the age of five and prefers clay. On the junior tour, he represented the United States and in 2025 climbed to 74th place in the ITF junior world rankings. That same season, he reached the quarterfinal of the tournament in Corpus Christi, and at the event in Plantation he also stopped in the quarterfinal. At the 2025 US Open junior event, he lost in the first round. Late in 2025, Reddy made notable progress: at the tournament in Zapopan he reached the final, defeating seeded player Navneet Raghuram and Agassi Rusher along the way, before losing in the final to Stefan Heite. In 2026, he continued competing at the international junior level. At the tournaments in Gladbeck and Plzen he advanced to the late stages, reaching the final in Plzen. In Bamberg he also made it to the final, losing to Oleg Madjdančić. At the junior tournament in Melbourne he won his first-round match, and at the event in Tucson he defeated seeded player Keshav Muthuvel. In August 2026, Reddy became a finalist at the USA U18 Championships: on his way to the final he beat Nicolas Pedraza and Juno Pate, and the final ended with his opponent retiring. His professional career is still at an early stage; Reddy's main results so far are linked to junior tournaments and US national competitions.
