About the tournament
Porto is the Eupago Porto Open, one of the few events at the lower levels of the tour where men's and women's competitions are held simultaneously on the hard courts of the Complexo Ténis Monte Aventino in Porto, Portugal. The women's tournament has been held since 1999, the men's since 2007; the category has changed over the years from ITF and ATP Challenger 100 to Challenger 125 and WTA 125. In 2001–2002, the tournament was part of the WTA Tour, and it was won by three-time Roland Garros champion Arantxa Sanchez Vicario. Among the men, Turkey's Altug Celikbilek has two singles titles to his name (2021, 2022). The prize money in 2025 amounted to about 148,000 euros for the men and 115,000 dollars for the women.
