Sabadell

About the tournament

M25 Sabadell is a men's tournament in the ITF World Tennis Tour series, category M25, held in the city of Sabadell (province of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain). The competition is traditionally hosted by the Cercle Sabadellès 1856 tennis club, a venue with outdoor clay courts, which is typical for the Spanish spring-summer season: an abundance of clubs with quality clay, a warm climate, and well-established organizational infrastructure make Catalonia one of the main hubs of the European grassroots ITF calendar. The tournament's prize fund stands at around 30,000 US dollars, which corresponds to the standard M25 category, the second rung of the men's professional ITF ladder after M15, leading to entry into the main draw of ATP Challenger tournaments. The courts of Sabadell regularly host young European players earning ranking points, as well as experienced professionals outside the ATP Top 200 who use the tournament to maintain their form and ranking. More than one numbered edition of the tournament can take place in this city within a season, which is characteristic of the "hubs" of the Spanish calendar that save on logistics for organizers and participants alike. No separate, regularly updated official website or social media accounts specifically for the tournament could be found; information is published on the ITF portal and local tennis resources.
