Monastir

About the tournament

M15 Monastir is a lower-tier men's professional tour event on the ITF World Tennis Tour (category M15, known as Futures until 2019), held regularly in the Tunisian city of Monastir. This Mediterranean coastal resort town has long become one of the main "hubs" of grassroots world tennis: thanks to its mild climate, developed resort infrastructure, and relatively low cost of organizing competitions, numerous numbered editions of M15 and M25 category tournaments are held here back-to-back on the same outdoor hard courts throughout almost the entire calendar year. Players compete on outdoor hard courts; one of the host locations is the sports complex at the Magic Hotel Skanes Family Monastir. This density of tournaments attracts young and lower-ranked professionals from around the world who need to earn ITF points and climb the ATP rankings, as well as local Tunisian tennis players using home tournaments to gain match practice. The official website and the profile of a specific edition can be found on the ITF Tennis portal, where entry lists, draws, and results for each individual tournament in this series are published; unlike the major ATP/WTA tours, the hub itself typically does not maintain any dedicated permanent social media accounts.
