Tsaghkadzor

About the tournament

M15 Tsakhkadzor is a men's entry-level professional tennis tournament on the ITF World Tennis Tour, held regularly in the mountain resort town of Tsakhkadzor in Armenia. The M15 category is the lowest rung of the ITF adult professional ladder: it is where young players just starting their careers earn their first ranking points, alongside tennis players recovering from injuries or looking to strengthen their position in the lower half of the ranking table. The tournaments are played on outdoor clay courts, which is typical for the autumn calendar in this region and convenient in terms of climate and the cost of organizing competitions at this level. Judging by the numbering of the editions, several tournaments of this category are held one after another at the same venue in Tsakhkadzor during the season, a practice common among national federations, as it allows for the efficient use of infrastructure and organizational resources to host a large number of players over a short period. The host venue is a sports complex at a hotel complex in Tsakhkadzor, home to a modern tennis center. The tournament is registered in the ITF World Tennis Tour system, and the specific dates, player fields and results of each edition can be found on the official ITF website.
