About the tournament
J30 Djibouti is an international ITF junior tournament in the city of Djibouti, the capital of the country of the same name. The J30 category corresponds to the entry level of the modern junior ladder and is close to the former fifth tier: players under 18 compete here, earning their first international ranking points and experience of matches outside national competitions. The tournament is played on outdoor hard courts. Such events are numerous and spread across the world, as they create an accessible step between domestic youth tournaments and stronger international competitions.
