Antananarivo

About the tournament

J30 Antananarivo is an international junior ITF tournament held on outdoor clay courts in the capital of Madagascar. Under the former system it belonged to Grade 5 and J5, and after the reform it is designated as J30, the entry level of the world junior ladder. Such events are numerous and take place in various countries, as they give juniors the chance to earn their first international ranking points, gain experience, and move on from national tournaments to stronger events. The main draw usually features players who are only just starting to establish themselves in the junior calendar. The venue is Club Olympique de Tananarive in the Ankadikely-Ilafy district.
