Antananarivo

About the tournament

J30 Antananarivo is an international ITF junior tournament on outdoor clay courts in the capital of Madagascar. In the former system it belonged to Grade 5 and J5, and after the reform it is designated J30 — the entry level of the world junior ladder. Such competitions are numerous and are held in different countries, since they give juniors the opportunity to earn international ranking points for the first time, gain experience and move from national events to stronger tournaments. The main draw usually features players who are only beginning to establish themselves in the junior calendar. The venue is the Club Olympique de Tananarive in the Ankadikely-Ilafy area.
