Bari

About the tournament

J60 Bari is an international ITF junior tournament for players under 18 in Bari, Italy. In the old system it belonged to the Grade 4 category, and after the reform of the calendar it is presented as J60: this is the entry international level, below J100 and higher categories. The tournament is held on outdoor hard courts, at the New Country Tennis Academy Bari. Juniors who are earning their first ranking points, gaining international experience and gradually moving on to stronger competitions play here. Such tournaments are numerous and spread across different countries, since they form a broad base of world junior tennis and make it possible to compete without long trips to the leading centres.
