World No. 123 Tatiana Prozorova beat tournament third seed Alexandra Eala, the world No. 18, 4-6, 7-5, 6-3 in the second round of the WTA 500 event in Singapore. The match lasted 188 minutes, with the sets going 2:1 in Prozorova’s favor.

On her way through the Singapore tournament, Prozorova also defeated Sofia Costoulas in the first round, 5-7, 7-6(2), 6-2, and then beat Xinyu Wang in the quarterfinals, 3-6, 7-5, 6-4.
