Spanish tennis player Charo Esquiva Banuls has won the ITF W35 tournament in Bath. In the final she defeated eighth seed Valentina Ivanov of New Zealand 6:0, 6:2. The Spaniard took the first set without dropping a game.

On her way to the title, Esquiva Banuls beat Carmen Lopez Martinez (6:3, 6:3), Radka Zelnickova (6:1, 6:3), Valentina Ryser (6:4, 6:7(3), 6:2) and Amandine Hesse (6:2, 6:3). The only set she lost during the tournament came in the quarterfinal, on a tiebreak. This is according to api.tennis.
