German tennis player Nino Ehrenschneider has won the hardcourt ITF M15 tournament in Luan. In the final, the top seed defeated New Zealand's Isaac Becroft, the second seed, 6-3, 3-6, 6-3, according to api.tennis. Per rank.tennis, Ehrenschneider is ranked 561st, while Becroft sits at 619th.
The German had an easy start to the tournament, beating Tomohiro Masabayashi 6-0, 6-1, and James Van Herzeele 6-2, 6-0. After that, he had to fight back from behind. In the quarterfinal against Taisei Ichikawa, Ehrenschneider dropped the first set 1-6 but won the match 1-6, 6-2, 6-2. In the semifinal against Ryuki Matsuda, he again lost the opening set before coming through 2-6, 6-3, 6-2.
