The milestone match came in the first round of qualifying at the Challenger 100 event in Villena (Ferrero & Forty Challenger): Barton beat Stefan Latinovic in straight sets, 6-3, 7-5. Wins are counted based on matches recorded in the api.tennis database.
The Road to the Milestone
Of his last six matches in the database, Barton won two. While his previous singles win, over Brancaccio, had to be fought out over three sets, he sealed his 150th in straight sets, not allowing Latinovic to take a single one.
