Hubert Hurkacz beat Novak Djokovic 6:4, 6:3 in the round of 64 at the Rolex Shanghai Masters. According to api.tennis, the win sent Hurkacz through to the next round of the ATP Masters 1000 hard-court tournament.
Both sets finished without a tiebreak
Hurkacz took the opening set and then extended his advantage in the second. Djokovic was unable to force a deciding set, with both sets finishing before a tiebreak.
In the previous round, Hurkacz beat James Duckworth. He has now defeated Duckworth and Djokovic on his way through the Shanghai draw without dropping a set in either match.
