Karen Khachanov defeated second seed Félix Auger-Aliassime in the round of 32 at the China Open in Beijing 6-3, 6-3. The ATP 500 tournament is being played on hard courts, and the win sends Khachanov through to the next round.

In the first set Khachanov moved ahead to 6-3. The second set went the same way, and the match finished at 2-0 in sets.
