Lost the first set, then won late

The first set went to the Russian, with Simakin winning 6-2. The score was mirrored in the second set: Ugo Carabelli won it 6-2 to level the match. It all came down to the third set, which ended 7-5 in the Argentine’s favor, giving him a 2:1 lead in sets.

The win marked a notable turnaround for Ugo Carabelli.
