In the opening set, Munar edged ahead by the narrowest of margins: Alcaraz dropped it 5-7. In the second set, the momentum shifted: Alcaraz won 6-3 and sent the match into the deciding set.
The final set was the most one-sided. Alcaraz finished it 6-1, allowing Munar to take only one game. If the opening set went to Munar by a small margin, then in each of the next two Alcaraz's advantage in games became more pronounced.
